Advanced Lane Detection - Using OpenCV and Python on Nvidia Jetson Xavier NX

Hallo everyone,

An algorithm for lane detection was developed in python using Nvidia Jetson Xavier NX platform.

More specifically the below methods were used:
1) Read video frames with OpenCV in python.
2) Create a region of interests area and bird's eye view.
3) Perspective transformation and image thresholding.
4) Apply histogram and sliding windows approach for lanes detection.
5) Path planning.

The video was captured in Switzerland at Grindelwald.
The dashcam system of my car was used for capturing the video and the analysis is 1920x1280 at 25 fps.
