Edible Cookie Dough is a fabulous recipe that is safe to eat and insanely addictive! Butter, sugar, vanilla and flour are combined with chocolate chips. The dough can then be stirred through ice cream, rolled into balls and dipped in chocolate to make truffles, or simply eaten as is. Stores in the fridge for up to a week, or in the freezer for up to 3 months - give it a go!

INGREDIENT LIST:

1 Cup of Plain All Purpose Flour
3/4 Cup of Brown Sugar
125g of Butter (1 Stick)
1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
1/2 Teaspoon of Salt
2 Tablespoons of Milk
1/2 Cup of Milk Chocolate Chips
1/2 Cup of Dark Chocolate Chips

Preparation Time: About 10 minutes

Thanks for addressing the harmful bacteria in the flour. I've seen tons of edible cookie dough recipes on youtube, but none of them ever talked about this and they all contain raw flour, so they're still potentially dangerous. Yours is the first safe one I've seen!

I prefer to live on the edge, and eat raw Nestle Tollhouse cookie dough. Have not gotten salmonella yet lol.

Hi! I did this earlier, but I eyeballed the measurements. It came out a little wet so I just chilled in the freezer. I'll taste it later, but it snells so good. You're a genius! I made a couple of adjustments. I used oat flour, very little sugar, and substituted heavy cream for the milk. I'm so excited to try it later! Thank you for a great recipe!

So the first time I followed your recipe, it was super good, but I thought it needed some, umph. So I made it a week or two after, and followed the recipe again. But I added some peanut butter and organic coconut shavings. It was SO amazing. My sisters loved it. I made it for a family party, and they want me to make it again. Thank you so much for this recipe, and I hope that you try how I made it.

You have the best ideas for recipes and you inspire me!! I was thinking of using oat flour (grinding the oats with food processor) and try this cookie dough. I like dark chocolate, so I would add mini dark chocolate chips. Another variation, would be to use raisins, no choc. chips, to make an oatmeal cookie dough, add a little cinnamon. yum, love your recipes!

I tried making this but even after poring in the milk the mixture was still very crumbly. I improvised and just added a little water and some more milk along with a bit of vanilla essence (tablespoon) and it did the trick. Thank you for this YUMMY YUMMY recipe it turned out DELICIOUS :)
