Candlelight vigil to be held in honour of victims of Bondi Junction attack

A candlelight vigil will be held at 5:30pm on Sunday to honour the victims of the Bondi Junction attack.

Various government members from all levels around the area are helping to coordinate the event.

NSW Labor MP for Coogee Marjorie O’Neill acknowledged the “community is in a lot of pain” and this is an opportunity “to demonstrate our support for each other”.

Ms O'Neill has stressed safety and security at this event is of “utmost importance”.

“NSW Police are working very closely with Waverley council” she added.
