It went from "I tried Arch Linux" to "How I beat Minecraft (for the first time)". I have never seen a youtuber with this much variety...

I love how this guy just uploads whatever he feels like. It’s weirdly refreshing

I won't be surprised if this guy wakes up and uploads a video of him reviewing cereals and i will watch it

If i summarized this video, it would be “unnecessary risk”

1:29 "It's Raw Copper. I haven't seen anyone use it, so it's probably useless." Most accurate assessment ever lol

(For those who don't know, its only purposes are building blocks, incredibly cheap lightning rods, and spyglasses.)

This is not a debugging rabbit hole video! What has this channel become?!?!

Jokes aside, love watching you struggle to use software, including Minecraft. Keep up the fun videos!

all these speedrun tricks he tries to do is the single reason he dies so much

0:21 Zooming with a hotkey is a modded feature. In vanilla you can set your FOV to 30 to achieve a similar effect.
0:50 They're "so OP" since the combat update, which was 1.9, which was released 9 years ago now.
2:04 The item entity is partially stuck in the gravel block that fell onto it.
2:23 You can't store that bed in the bundle because beds only stack to 1 and the bundle already had something in it. You could store at most 1 bed in a bundle.
3:17 While this method of stacking up you're doing is slightly faster, there's no point in doing it when you're already spending an eternity mining diamonds anyway. lol
3:38 Flooded caves are a thing since 1.13.
3:39 Not shift. Sprinting while your eyes (yes, your eyes) are in water sets you into a swimming state. Alternatively, pushing a block into your head (closing a trapdoor) so that you no longer fit upright can put you into a crawling state.
4:00 You were trying to pick up flowing water. You can only pick up water source blocks. You should have placed a block next to you to stop the water from flowing into you.
5:23 Binding: You can't take the equipped item off. You have to either die or break it to get it off. Vanishing: Disappears (doesn't drop) if you die with it equipped.
6:10 Diamonds used to be way more difficult to find before the cave generation changed in 1.17, yes. They're handed out like candy in modern versions, in big open caves.
7:10 Water flow prefers specific paths I'm not going to explain in a YouTube comment, but make sure all water flows into a hole if you don't want it to spread around and turn your lava into obsidian.
9:04 Boat clutching is more difficult since it requires 2 clicks instead of 1. Many 'pros' make their mouse double click on purpose with a specific type of physical tap for various stuff in Minecraft. You can't do this with all mice, but it makes boat clutching 10x easier. Look into butterfly clicking and drag clicking.
11:15 Sort of. Look into the way Nether Fortresses get generated. Having some conception of regions might help. There's debug menu (F3) nonsense you can do as well, but at that point we're talking about technical speedrunning knowledge and not some casual intended method. (Apparently you got to this later in the video... Kinda.)
13:20 You can eat melon slices, but those are glistering melon slices you have. You can't eat those (even though you can eat other goldificermigated food).
13:56 Shields do work against blazes. It can block their fireball attacks. However, if the fireball misses and sets a block next to or below you on fire, it obviously won't block that and you'll also be on fire. Also, shields have a slight invisible delay after holding right click before they actually work (this is your primary issue), and have a slight cooldown in between blocks.
17:00 Same as 3:39. You couldn't start sprinting, because you were already up against the block. You need to sprint any amount of distance while your eyes are submerged to enter a swimming state. You couldn't sprint any distance, being up against a block.
20:09 Shields have a slight delay before they actually activate.
20:20 A single creeper explosion won't ever blow up your stuff. The items you drop get created later in the same tick. Only a second explosion would be able to blow up your items.
20:32 You have 6000 game ticks, which equates to 5 minutes. This timer runs when the chunk the items are in is loaded with a high enough priority to process entities. In short: when the chunk the items are in is within your set simulation distance.
22:05 You do also need to be looking at the direction the attack is coming from, yes, but this is plenty lenient and your issues are to do with not grasping the invisible shield delays.
23:31 You need a space between the enchanting table and the bookshelves. Putting something right next to the enchanting table blocks certain bookshelves from magically reaching it. (You figured it out right after.)
29:33 You don't need to anger them. Placing the boat as close next to them as you can and then pushing them slightly towards it while they're standing still is much more reliable than doing it while they're running around.

4:30 You were in flowing water. You can only pick up water sources. Sources are full blocks of liquid, while flowing ones are made from the sources (ofc)

I like how you constantly try things people do who have thousands of hours in the game.

At 4:00 the reason you die is because the water block you are clicking is not a source block it is flowing water which cannot be picked up. If you would have placed a block one block down the tunnel you would have blocked of the source block and the flowing water would have disappeared

I spent 100 hours in a single Minecraft world recently just enjoying the game building off the knowledge I already had.
It's really one of those games that shines when you simply let the creative juices flow and just do whatever you want when you want. Not when a guide tells you to.
