The biggest irony is that, legendary spamming or not, the opponents lose because they ignore those hazards and screens set up at the beginning of the game.

The actual threat was not Calyrex-S, but that Deoxys-S that sacrificed itself.

Funny thing is, pretty much all of the salt comes from players who don't actually know how Pokemon works. Like, they look up the meta builds and copy combos and plays, but they don't actually understand how any of it works, they just assume that they'll be handed wins on a silver platter. It's a bit like GTA Online, really.

Cold take: Calyrex-Ice is a cooler Pokemon than Calyrex-Shadow. Weakness Policy makes him just the best Pokemon to put on Trick Room teams, especially with Close Combat and Dynamax

It's one thing to simply criticize this opponent for ignoring the threats of Stealth Rock, Reflect, and Spikes, but then I realize that this opponent is (1) having Conkeldurr run Power-Up Punch (this Pokemon isn't well suited to be a setup sweeper), (2) likely isn't having Conkeldurr run Guts considering that it isn't holding a Flame Orb either, and (3) thinks that Conkeldurr will outspeed Calyrex-Shadow Rider, and they blame the whole thing on an Uber-Tier Pokemon Dynamaxing and sweeping their team of Pokemon that are considered OU or lower? I dunno what this person was thinking, but they clearly were very confident that their team of non-Legendary offensive Pokemon would be enough to take on National Dex AG with the likes of Mega Rayquaza and Zacian-Crowned roaming around.
