Samsung Q950A Soundbar - How to RESET, CONNECT or PAIR the soundbar with rear speakers and subwoofer

Hello guys,
My name is Luka. Several of you have asked me how to reset the soundbar and how to connect or pair the rear speakers and the subwoofer to the soundbar so in this clip I will show you how to do this with the new soundbar from Samsung - THE Q950A.
I'll start by showing you how to reset the Samsung Q950A soundbar. First you need to turn on the central unit. Then press the + and - volume buttons on the unit at the same time for 5 seconds. After that you will see how the INT message appears on the unit - this message means that at this moment the reset is done, the unit will close and start with the original factory settings.
New lest see how to connect or pair the rear speakers and the subwoofer to the Q950A Samsung soundbar.
First you need to make sure that all the devices are plugged in a socket. Then power off the main unit – push the ID SET button on the rear speakers and subwoofer for 5 seconds – you will see that the blue light will blink. Press and hold the up button on the remote control for 5 seconds – you will see that on the main unit will appear the ID SET massage and then the speakers and the subwoofer will connect to it.

Thank you very much for putting this video online. Found nothing about reseting HWQ950A in any websites. After connecting an UHD PLAYER, my Soundbar had a lot of malfunctions. Even after disconnecting the player. After doing your reset, everything runs fine. Greetings from Austria 🤓👋🇦🇹

I have the Q950A and the button layout is the same on the sound bar. The - and + did not work for me (did nothing), however, pressing the settings (cog icon) on the remote for ~10 seconds did force the soundbar to factory reset itself and it has so far resolved my issue where the sound would drop instantly to 0 (tried connecting with eARC/HDMI/WiFi with the same issue).

Thanks for the guidance. I was having an issue where no sound was coming from the Surround Speakers. For my Q950A, I had to press the button on the bottom of the sound bar for the Surround Speakers to connect. The remainder of the steps worked. Thanks again!

Thanks a lot! Following the manual and the sync button on the subw and satellites + UP on the remode paired only one of the at a time. It worked from the 1st try after your method, starting with the device reset with + and - !
