The Tornado is one of the loudest jets. Whenever a new squadron would get to RAF Akrotiri, they'd fly low over the housing, blowing the roofs off! Actually, I think the F-4 was louder.

The ADV F2/F3 was of course the second main variant. And the Saudis and Italians also used F3s. There must have been some seriously big incentives to get those deals done.
