I spoke in Business Questions and asked the Leader of the House:

The UK Hedgehog population is in sharp decline.

Next week is Hedgehog awareness week and an opportunity to promote the plight of this beloved iconic species.

It costs around £50 to look after a hedgehog from admission to release.

Anglesey Hedgehog Rescue run by brilliant volunteers Sue Timperley, Debbie Evans and Chris Mead is raising funds with a hedgehog naming competition.

Will the Leader of the House take part in the competition and what would her hedgehog name be?

You can hear the ministers excellent reply here 👇

Siaradais yn ystod Cwestiynau Busnes a gofyn i Arweinydd y Tŷ:

Mae poblogaeth draenogod yn y DU yn lleihau’n sylweddol.

Mae’r wythnos nesaf yn Wythnos Ymwybyddiaeth o’r Draenog ac yn gyfle i hyrwyddo achos y rhywogaeth eiconig, hoffus yma.

Mae’n costio £50 i ofalu am ddraenog o’r adeg pan ddaw dan ofal hyd nes iddo gael ei ryddhau.

Mae Anglesey Hedgehog Rescue sy’n cael ei redeg gan wirfoddolwyr gwych, Sue Timperley, Debbie Evans a Chris Mead wrthi’n codi arian gyda chystadleuaeth enwi draenog.

A wnaiff Arweinydd y Tŷ gymryd rhan yn y gystadleuaeth hon, a beth fyddai enw ei draenog hi?

Gallwch glywed ymateb ardderchog y gweinidog yma 👇
