My favorite is Ubuntu. I first installed Ubuntu 5.04 on a spare Pentium II and I was impressed. In 2008 I bought a new Dell laptop with Windows Vista and then I remembered Ubuntu and started dual booting Ubuntu 8.04 LTS and Windows Vista. I retired 1-1-11 and switched completely to Ubuntu. Now I run Ubuntu 21.10 on OpenZFS 2.0. I still run Ubuntu 16.04 ESM in a virtual machine for my banking and I use snaps for the latest Firefox and LibreOffice.

i've bern using zorin for almost a year now, and don't regret leaving windows. fedora is looking good, tho, might try it out in the future

I've never used linux up until 1 month ago when i heard about it. I've tried like 7 different distro's but none of them came close to the 8th. The 8th one i tried is Fedora KDE and i loved it more than windows right from the start. Will definetly keep using it for a long time.

I use Linux mint as my primary operating system and some times l use Manjaro which is arch based. I love both operating system.

Zorin is also a good choice, it’s stable and the ui is also pretty good, check it out if ya have time.
