THE HMONG PEOPLE OF THAILAND: Interview about Hmong Culture

The Hmong people are said to have come from Southern China. Many left starting in the 18th century in order to protect their cultures and traditions. Today, they live in China, Southeast Asia, and western countries including a significant population in the United States.

This weekend, I spent two days learning about the life of the Hmong people in Southeast Asia. Wim, our guide, was an incredibly happy man who shares his words of wisdom in this video.

Hmoob is hmoob no matter what tribe just different governments we all live in. Hmong americans don't forget hmoob hlub hmoob. The hmong in china that stayed suffered also but live in peace today, we in the west and southeast asia have guilt, very well don't have to accept being chinese because we are all hmoob and southern china is the homeland of our ancestors.
