About Me:

My bio is pretty random: In short, I am a professional singer/songwriter from Toronto, Canada who moved to Manila, Philippines which sorta became my Hollywood because my first Youtube channel MIKEYBUSTOSVIDEOS grew popular due to Filipino comedy videos. Meanwhile, I'm also a big biology geek who is obsessed with ants, so I built an internationally operating ant business supported by another popular channel called ANTSCANADA, and well basically, today I travel and tour around the world doing what I love so I wanted to start this vlogging channel, in hopes to encourage you guys to follow your dreams no matter how random, by showing you what happened when I followed mine! You just never know where life will take you when you listen to the yearnings of your heart!

Your decision to permanently put the roof on for the indoor aviary is the correct one since a lot of plants in there are the types that dislike sunlight so the muted light that passes through the roof is more preferable for them. One of my family members made the mistake last summer to put some plants that hate direct sunlight in an area where they end up receiving direct sunlight instead, resulting in a lot of plants dying off, but I managed to save several and place them in a shaded area, which resulted in them bouncing back.

What you can do to your indoor aviary is add a tubing around in the mid height level and the top level, and that tubing you can use as a means of creating mist specially during summer, 3 times a day to avoid the plants from shriveling up due to the heat and lost of moisture. I believe your birds would love that also.

You should turn one of the guest rooms into a bunk room. A few bunk beds to sleep more people and kids. There are so many cool bunk room designs

The chandelier is unique. I love bathroom which overlook the nature but your swimming pool is basically that.

When I was traveling from California to the PI (Manila) for work about 20 years ago, we would travel to Tagaytay and eat at Sonya's for lunch every trip. Wow, has that place grown and the juice there is like nothing you've ever tasted. It's like a flavor explosion in your mouth. lol. Such a cool vlog and brings back fond memories of being the Philippines. Best people in the world!

Grilled eggplant 🍆 makes a great ensalada. After grilling and cooling, peel it, chop some onions and tomatoes, then add the peeled grilled eggplant. Squeeze in some calamansi and add a bit of fish sauce or shrimp paste. It pairs good with fried dalagang bukid fish—so dielicious!

I didn't watch the video abt Melody bec the idea hurts so much (we have sixteen indoor cats, all rescues), but I still ended up seeing her in this video. So sorry about Melody, Mikey. Always hardest for us left behind but we need to remember Melody is already living her best life ever in Heaven.

I would suggest to use "pressure washer" (power hose) to remove the mold/grime on the floor of the Aviary. Sonia's bday celebration is beautiful!

Hello Mikey and Rj! Belated happy birthday, Tita Sonya!
I enjoyed this video. Btw Mikey, the mangostene fruit is also one of my favorites. Pls don't just throw away the fruit peels. You could actually use that to make tea. Just have them sundried for maybe a week or 2 weeks. Then when it's all dried, boil the rinds in water and filter out all the solids, and drink it as tea. Very good anti-oxidants! It also helps calm my tummy when I'm nauseous. I hope you try it.
