Couple of notes about this shot. Same as before but on the 18mm of the sigma 18-35mm

I tried converting the RAW and VLOG using their companies rec709's but Unfortunately the rec709 lut i have is for the varicam and not for the GH5s. That being said
I had to use davinci resolve to convert both of these to rec 709 using the built in color space.

The only thing done to both of these clips aside for the 709 conversion is i pulled some highlights down since shooting wide open blew out the image but i had to shoot wide open
since the water was dark as hell. Sorry for the shake when busses was driving by. Anyways download the footage below and show me what you got. I have a lot more videos to come.

In lowlight they work both ok. Though the colours of the blackmagic look more natural to me. In daylight, the Blackmagic is definately better (1 Step more dynamic range til ISO 1000, skin tone).
The downsides of the BMPCC are the battery assist (not really working) and battery life, no usable follow focus (if needed), no flip-screen, no weather sealing. So this will be no run and gun camera.
You will need an external power solution (or tons of canon batteries) and in some situations a second monitor.

thank you for posting this. i look forward to downloading it into Resolve. i have a GH5S, contemplating pairing it with a BMPCC 4K, since the sensors are apparently the same, thus being able to compare similar footage is v important. do you have some daylight footage of the two cameras? also, where is this shot?
