MY thinking is he doesn't harm the accountant.
At the end of the movie when he has the car wreck he tells the two boys " you never saw me" and then walks away from them both.
With his ethics I'm thinking there was room for the accountant to say no and live.

This is how it seemed like in the movie. He shows up out of nowhere, leaves a few people dead and vanishes.

do you see me is actually a test. if he says no, anton kills him. he says yes, he potentially spares his life by being honest. saying nothing, implies that he wasnt there to confirm whethere or not he saw anton, and thus IMO gives him the best chance of life.
