Let's Play Minecraft HARDCORE! - A New Beginning | Episode 1

I am restarting in my hardcore world! Picking out a fresh new spot and updating to minecraft 1.21. In this episode we find a winter village, surrounded by ice and polar bears. We explore the area, build a starter house and get some new wolf friends.

Just to be clear, this is the exact same world with the pink village in it, we will return there, i just wanted a fun new adventure for summer break! This is technically episode 14 :D

I was so worried that the old village was gone, but I'm glad to see it's still there, just 1000 blocks away. I think linking the two with a road would be such cool world building, and I'm excited to see how this village develops!

Snow in Minecraft is an absolute vibe but I actually really love when rains in my jungle base. Plains rain = bleh but in the really green jungle I think it's great.

Having a goal to Defend a Village from a Raid really reminds me the days where you Build and Defend from a Raid, but now I can see you fighting off a raid with Wolves since their HP is doubled than before and wolf armor exists

As somebody who's built in a lot of snow biomes it's really fun building because you have to take the snow into account. In the custom village I built I have a covered pathway that goes around the village that has lanterns hanging from it. It looks really nice at night

gem, i think some lanterns would totally make your manor seem more cozy and actually give it the glow you wanted with the windows 🌟 plus it would totally match the village! would also probably look good with shaders too :)

Hey Gem, to fit your cactus into the snowy biome, perhaps you could build a village greenhouse to plant cacti and perhaps other crops too! You could also use lanterns and campfires to keep it warm and protect the plants! :)

That you can repair iron golems is new to me. One really does learn something new about Minecraft every day

I think that the other villages that you’re taking the bread and armor from and the one with the cool library would be fun villages to imagine that they’re your rivals! Your village’s enemies, and that’s why your two villages connect up later on, because they become allies!

The arctic fox sanctuary sounds amazing! Can picture like a cute snowy mound/den for them to stay cozy in :)
