C&NW Mondovi Line Operations - 03/25/23 - ALCO S2

It’s Saturday in Mondovi, Wisconsin circa 1959, and the C&NW afternoon train is arriving from Altoona with 8 cars and will leave town with 7 (not 6; I missed one on my switch list). The power tonight is an ALCO S2 #1035 and the caboose is #10763.

We’ll start by spotting the caboose down by the engine house, then pulling all the outbound cars onto the run-around track before we set out the inbound cars at the designated spots.

I'm glad to see your railroad progressing. I'm a person who likes the switching layouts. There several either under construction, 4, or in the detailing process, yours being one of them. Keep up the great work Paul. Maybe it's time for a bit of weathering too make it all even more realistic. ;-)
