I read the manga when I was younger. There weren't as many English ones here and completely forgot about it but I'm so happy I saw this

I like how regardless the harm that has happened to the family, the father just have to give the insect a tube to breath apparently 😂 anyother people would just make the insect extinct immediately

I saw another clip of the same anime and the fathers in this anime are really something else. All of them either don't care enough or just neglectful but has redemption in the end that doesn't really satisfy my ire towards them.

Ive been deeing mushishi recaps sm lately and i can tell that this anime has amazing stories based from the recaps

No joke, I met a lady who had this kind of thing happen to her. When she was 7, she basically straight up died. Her mother met a man in white robes who explained she wasn't dead, but her spirit lost somewhere else. They went to the river and dug up a 'new name' for her, and her mom cooked a special thing of rice, the steam trail wafting up and making a trail for her spirit to follow back home. Like fifteen minutes later, she walks back in the house saying how hungry she is. Crazy stuff!

Ah yes Mushi-Shi is a great anime. I recognize the style anywhere. I highly recommend watching the series.
