I would love to see a video where you do your makeup based solely on color theory. Like choosing colors that compliment/contrast with your hair, skin tone and undertone, outfit, and eye color etc. Essentially I want a super overanalyzed look explained in your usual humorous and educational fashion. 😂 I love hearing your explanations on color, shading etc because you have the art background to make it logical!

Ello, skin on slide lovely. Wow, foundation for is to even out my skin, today I wore it for the first time in a year and a half. I have just been rocking concealer and I'm done! I love Dior face and body. I want now super light coverage, lightly set with power.

Appreciate you reminding what foundation should be used for. I recently transitioned to tinted moisturizer from a fairly full coverage foundation that I'd been wearing for years. Primarily, I shifted to shorten my morning routine. But really, it helps me feel more natural, and while not every imperfection is hidden, my complexion glows more and I just feel fresh; and better. It's also easier on my late-30s skin!

I finally realized recently that I have a pale olive undertone, but I also have rosacea and my face is a wildly different color than the rest of my body. So I've never really understood how to make foundation work for me or what exactly it was for, because I've been trying to plaster on the complete wrong color since Day 1 and it's just never looked right. Thank you so much for all the olive toned recs, and for the trick with the green tone additive. I'm ready to give this another try!

thank you for addressing the pain of being a pale girl with olive skin, i also look like a baby banana when compared to other skin tones, though i am also like simultaneously a pale victorian ghost. i'd also love to hear more about who should use foundation vs tinted moisturiser vs bb cream/cc cream, it's a lot of options and is never explained
