of course housing to 2X more expensive. all households are dual income. You weren't expecting the "market" to let that slide into savings - just inflation.

Housing number doesn’t look like it’s adjusted to inflation. We all know personal income has lagged inflation

Yes historically expensive but what’s the relevance of 50 years ago? None. Were around the 5/10 year average p/e around 18/19 nothing special define not expensive

In the eighties, mortgage rates were in the teens, making housing as expensive as it is today.
