Follow the steps below to make your Instagram account private:
1. Open the Instagram app and login.
2. Once in the Instagram app, go to your profile by selecting the profile button in the bottom right of the app.
3. Once in your Instagram profile, open the menu by selecting the 3 horizontal lines in the top right.
4. In the menu, select Settings.
5. In Settings, select Privacy.
6. Once in Privacy, select Account Privacy.
7. In Account Privacy select the toggle to make your Instagram account private.
