For those *STILL* having this issue, I'm on windows 11, and I think i found the solution. if your EA sports App, just has a black screen and closes instantly (not launching the game), make sure to check if the EAbackground service (in services) is turned on and set to manual or automatic, since Steam uses EA app to open Titanfall.

Well I installed my titanfall 2 on windows 11 on steam and it doesnt open on ea play
