I got my degree from NYC and also have a social security number. Im a Canadian citizen, and my brother is a US citizen. I am a Canadian nuclear reactor operator who wants to move south of the boarder due to our rapidly declining economy. Many of their reactor operator job postings say they don't take into account 'national origin', but we both know the nuclear industry is especially secure. Do I have any chance of getting hired/sponsored by a USA nuclear plant? My current job requires me to possess a high security clearance status with the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission, would that help at all? Thank you.
