You know, if Trump had come out and said "I know it will take a while but here is the concrete 8 step plan I have beginning with these tariffs" it might be easier to stomach. I just hear him saying "these countries aren't very nice to us, so we are raising tariffs on them." That doesn't sound like a plan, that sounds like a temper tantrum with real consequences for the rest of the country.

There are no plants being built in the US. It will take 18 months and only if the tariffs are permanent otherwise the companies would not spend the money to build expensive plants here. Oh, sure all those companies that spent millions to relocate their factories to other countries where labor was cheap, are just going to uproot their lives and relocate back to this country for millions of dollars and they will pay workers $15.00 -$20.00 dollars an hour instead of maybe ( and I'm being generous here) $3.00 dollars and hour. Oh, they must be just excited to get back here. Who does he think he's kidding?
