Just an FYI, you have to set both 60hz. Otherwise the 90hz setting will lower the resolution dynamically as much as it can to try & obtain 90hz.

So unfortunately, this isnt an apples to apples comparison due to the games built in dynamic scaler. Only way to disable it is through mods while also forcing DX11.

Glad I went with OLED huge difference in performance and battery life in some games.

I think you have HDR on with the OLED Steam Deck version of FF7, sometimes HDR in FF7 Remake messes up the colors and isn’t actually HDR. Check to see if you are experiencing this.

I have a question … how you turn on refresh rate on steam deck oled?? Because I just bought steam deck oled and I don’t see refresh rate on my setting screen 😅

As noticeable as it might be, I think for most cases there's no point in the price gap. Just for enthusiast I think. Once in motion you probably get used to the more saturated and less natural colors. Apart from that, barely same performance overall, probably to the vast majority makes no sense.

so is there a noticeable difference? I can buy a 512GB LCD oled now for $325 is that good or should i spend the money on the OLED they look pretty much the same to me
