I took PoC to mean "Proof of Concept" because that's what this is. I love the idea and like you said, great job on the hardware. The software was clearly developed by hardware engineers or rookie developers. It should be an alpha version and I'm actually surprised this got App Store approval.

If this company put experienced app developers (detail oriented) on the software side of this, it could be a solid product. Hey TIDRadio, hire some real app developers (I am one) and make the app as good as the hardware. Now, I have to run, gotta tune in Tokyo on my tiddy radio.

I really enjoy your videos. They are always helpful and informative. In this case I was thinking about buying this, but after your review I think I'll wait a bit!

This is a great little tool to keep in your car/rig for on the fly programming. My buddy and I have one, great for programming the 5r when you are in the middle of the woods and need to make a change w/o having to use the cumbersome on radio programming buttons.

The app is def not intuitive. My guess is that this is a very small dev team, maybe even one developer. They need to prioritize and figure out what their MVP features really need to be and iterate slowly. Focus on the function 1st then worry about the social media aspect of it, if at all. Hope the PO is watching and reading the comments.

I don't like that this app wants your precise location and network access. Who knows what backdoors this chinese app is allowing on your phone.

This device is garbage...at least the Odmaster software is. It corrupts the CTCSS tones on my two BF-F8HP radios requiring full reset to restore function. The social aspects of the software make it super annoying. I recommend sticking with Chirp. Also, I was just blown off by both Tidradio and Odmaster's lousy support.
