A year on it's still a smooth smartphone, while the iPhone 6s' 12-megapixel iSight camera is as strong as the iPhone 7's in most respects. Last December 2016 I was stuck between iPhone 7 32GB and iPhone 6S Plus 64GB, I picked 6S Plus because of better screen, better battery, headphone jack and bigger storage.

I liked the color of iPhone 7 the matte black one but I guess I made the best choice with 6S Plus 64GB.

The iPhone 6 is still great as well. Some just dies a better job at the aging process of it's phones.
