I love that the entire process presented in this series is an unbroken chain. I find many people instructing beginners on YouTube have a case of experts oversight. They rush over important steps in the process in favour of achieving a faster or fancier result. That is not the case for this tutorial. The result is "simple", but the teaching is rock solid. I never felt lost or confused throughout. What a great entry point for learning 3D. Cheers Grant.

This felt like a bob ross class for blender. The way you teach is so much easier to follow then most of the other tutorials online. It was so fun to follow

I've already done the Doughnut Tutorial and thought it was pretty good but I never really grasped every concept. It made me more comfortable sure, but your series of beginner tutorials has helped me get a proper foothold in Blender with a much stronger understanding. Thanks a lot Grant!

This is the first course I was able to confidently complete and not stress over. The way you explained every little thing and gave us challenges with what you just taught was amazing. I felt like I could actually do the challenges for once! By the end of the course I was able to do the modifications you did off screen even though you didn't show us directly how you made them. Thanks so much for this guide.

Thank you so much for this course. I tried to doughnut a while back and it was so convoluted for something a beginner should try I gave up because I was not learning the basics. This course helped SO much and I am confident I can learn blender now! Thank you. ❤️

I remember doing the older course a few years back when you first released it. Big nostalgia. I hope you redo the Sea Shack one. I'd love to see the Ocean modifier in effect.

I'm not usually one to leave comments, but I've tried a bunch of tutorials, and I couldn't get past the first video in any of them. However, I managed to complete this series all the way through by adding my own touches. You've done a really great job, and I thank you for that.

I am VERY thankful for this course. You're a very talented person and this deserves more recognition for sure! Your way of teaching is very easy to understand, and I finally could make my first blender creation.

This tutorial was just what I was looking for! I feel comfortable enough to try make some low poly renders now. Keen to watch your UV unwrapping and baking tutorials so I can start rendering some cool stuff in ThreeJS! Cheers Grant.

Ok my last comment on this series!. I made it!! It was great! My first blender project came to light after failing at the Donut tutorial. Now, I feel quite confident to get back to my donut project and tackle it with all the knowledge I got from this tutorial!… Thank You Grant, for giving hope to those that thought blender wasn’t for everyone. I would like to continue my blender mastering with you, don’t care if I have to invest in one of your beginner courses! Thanks again and good luck! Blessings!!!

Wonderful course. With your teaching, I feel like I can finally get comfortable with Blender, actually understanding the purpose behind each of the steps. You explain so clearly and patiently. I also love your little pauses for us to catch up or - even better - to try and recall previous information or to figure out things on our own, strenghtening previous knowledge. And if someone doesn't remember, you proceed to patiently show things again, even adding new solutions and information to make the process even more fluid. So brilliant!
Thank you very much for the course. I will happily proceed to your other tutorials now. Many thanks.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Thanks for recreating this series using Blender 3.0. I've been using it for a few years now for my high school students to get a quick taste of blender. We only have 3 weeks for them to accomplish something. This series is succinct, and they all have success with it. I am forever grateful. And thanks for keeping this free as our budgets are non-existent!

This course blew the doughnut series out the water lol. Blender Guru makes way to many corny jokes and gives you information you don't need at the time. This is straight to the point and gives you mini tests to make sure you're following along

Thank you Grant. Fantastic noob tutorial series! You really make all aspects of the program and creation methods involved for this level very accessible!

Wow. It's amazing how much you were able to teach in such small episodes. You're extremely clear in the way you teach, would definitely recommend to any beginners!

Excellent, excellent tutorial! Just like all of the other commentors, I have learned more from this than most of the other big names posting content. You really helped fill in the holes. You have a great way of presenting and walking through. I appreciate you sharing this content and getting me pumped to do more. Take care and thanks again.

Aey! Finally finished it! I attempted to get through your Blender 2.8 playlist for this scene about a year ago, but my first year of university began, and I had to learn Autodesk Maya instead.
Now I can trying being fluent in both. Great work on these videos.
