We picked up Kay-Ann's new 2017 ZX6R! Josh rode it home so Kay-Ann can practice before taking it out on the street. We don't need a repeat of her experience with the R3.

Omg thank you so much! I have been doing research on this bike for months now and after watching your video sold me on this bike! I picked it up about a month ago now. And I love it! I'm so happy with it!.
I was so worried it was going like it or it was to fast or to tall. But its perfect.
I've put a ton of after market parts on it sense I bought it. Plus it really helps working at at a powersports dealership.
So if you have any questions on anything just let me know.
Otherwise thank you for the helpful video!

I've got a 2014 636 and absolutely love it! If you want to be loud get a M4 slip on exhaust! Sounds eargasmic :)

I have the same color bike, but it's a 2017 Kawasaki ZX10R, good choice on the ZX6R ! You should go do your first trackday with it, you'll love it !

I love the 2017 zx6r with the blizzard white. Reminds me of my first bike the ninja 650. Unfortunately I don’t know where to time a 2017 zx6r to buy one.

Yeah the seat becomes firmer on the way back. The edges of the seat is meant to split your but cheek for hanging off the bike. I know the R6 is rounder but the 636 is set up where everything is very deliberate in what you touch and meant to be more over everything you feel in terms of Frame and the Engine. The front of the seat is much softer. the clutch is a slipper clutch it's far more forgiving. It's much better to do two finger clutch pulls with that bike.

I've owned 3 new 636. Also if you link the lights you will disable the flash to pass function and can serious complicated the electrical system. If you do PLEASE go for a much stronger Battery (Shorai LFX18A1BS12 will do the trick). That extra draw will cause some issues in the charging system if you use HID's so Opt for LED headlights. I use the Headwinds H7 and it reduced the draw on the components. Better still if there a problem with the system Kawasaki can't say my lights are the problem because it's draw is less then stock and I did mess with the wiring harness at all. Just giving some insight. I love this bike to death and have over 60, 000 miles on this platform, cities, back road twisties, track days. A slip on, E-3 sparkling plugs and air filter really wakes that bike up. I used the K&N air filter and Two Brothers S1R slip on with the P1 sound suppressor to give me the back pressure to keep my low end power bellow 4.5k RPM. There is a servo eliminator you can plug up for weight reduction. But the baffle I told you about gives me good torque from 3, 500RPM vs 5, 000 RPM not having it in and the throttle response is sharper. Last I use Royal Purple Max Cycle 10w40 oil and Engine ice as my coolant and all of them ran 150-165°F at speed on the streets at 45mph and up. On the track, same oil and roaring around the circuit the Engine Never got over 175°F-180°F . Currently I make 123.8whp.

Tires I know is very subjective but I had Great success with the Michelin Pilot Power 3, Power Supersport Evo's, and Power RS. I've used the Q3, Battlax S20 and S20evo. The Stickier Supersport Evo and Power RS really let you take advantage of the bike's confidence Inspiring Handling to the next level. There are numerous occasions where I feel the bike is like,

“Seriously is that all you got, you really can use more gas, brake harder, lean over more." The bike really does talk to you once you're lean into a corner really go for more then 3-5 seconds. To address your comment on why the bike is so smooth, the R6 has always been very sharp if not almost Ridge in its feedback old or new. The 636 at near 40k miles doesn't feel much different compartment it it at 10-20, 000 miles after being well worn in. It still very visceral in feedback but it does it in a assertive/non aggressive Manor compared to most R6's. I really hope all this helps and I wish you the best with the your new "Snow baby" .😎😊

Congrats on the bike! & Hey we have the same helmet! Do you guys have a GoPro mount video for her helmet? I wanted to do the same setup but I thought it was iffy, so I just did the side mounting.
