Old Town sure is a beauty all it's own! I have heard of the La Llorona story when I was a young man and thought it was just story telling(40 yrs ago) but since then I have a different look at the paranormal. We know nothing of what comes after death, some believe that when you die that is it and you are forever gone from existence and others believe that we, our spiritual essence, continues on and returns back here as a newborn. I fall under that second category but only because I had an OOB experience after dying in the emergency room. That was 37 years ago and I still relive that in my mind from time to time but just as I am now I wasn't scared then. As a matter of fact I felt calm and curious as to what I had witnessed as the doctor and nurses were doing all they could to bring me back. I cannot look past this now because it has changed my entire life in many good ways. Death is not to be feared, embrace it because we are so much more than we realize! Love and appreciate this channel, thanks Stacy!

Such an iconic story. I remember reading the story when I was a child obsessed with all things spooky. It's been customized by almost every region with a river now too. It's amazing how often it's used as a Hollywood trope now as well and people don't know where it originated from.

Ahhhh Albuquerque… Fond memories! Two of the truest statements… Chips and salsa, are a religion in the southwest and margaritas are the law 😂🤣 growing up in Arizona I resonated with so much of this video. The La Llorona story is strong there as well amongst the Mexican and indigenous people. Thank you for your coverage of this and of Albuquerque. 🧡🇲🇽💚🌮❤🫔💙

Hi Stacy ✨
How ya doin ? I’m good excited for the arrival of spring 💐
This place reminded me of Romancing the Stone 😁
I’m sure they found her children, I Hope, such a morbid hauntingly story. It makes me me wonder how if no one was around how the details of stories are known and passed down. Thank you for your research.
