This is so boring compared to the show version. I mean they dance great, but it's mostly just solo parts, no dancing toghether, not feeling like a collaborative group. There's a few cats we know and the rest are stage background without any characteristic features to tell them apart, unlike in the show version where I can literally name every cat.
And most importantly - there's no stage lighting and it really shows! It just looks bland.

It's a shame cause the music, choreography, dance moves, and the live props were so amazing. All of that ruined cause of very ugly cgi. And it's such a shame as we can see how so many of the dancers and singers gave it their all. This was the fault of the director. I don't even blame the animators cause I can see how they would have just been following orders, what the director demanded. It was still the directors final say that "oh this cgi doesn't look uncanny at all, let's go with it". Really they should have just stayed with practical effects and costumes, and that would have been great.
