Ever since I was a kid I've had a weird obsession with Charmander. Probably because I find myself getting attached to vulnerable characters, and Charmander's flame makes him VERY vulnerable. Just the concept of Charmander's flame needing to stay lit for him to survive, and there being so many things that can easily put out fire, I guess that caused me to forge some sort of powerful attachment to Charmander. When I pick favorite characters, I'm not so much looking for cool or powerful, I'm looking for cute (which can still be powerful) and vulnerable (not necessarily always cute, but just an underdog type of character, who winds up surprising everyone with some sort of hidden skill that not even they knew they had.)
