This is how I'm going to absolutely crush my first Hyrox. Bringing up my weaknesses and maintaining my advantages. There's only so much i can do in 10 weeks time. But I'm going to squeeze every last drop out of it.

One big thing I found was utilize compromised running 3x a week. IE run a K then right into sandbag lunges, or use your kettlebell, run a K then burpee broad jumps and repeat. And do this with wall
Balls or
Pushes or pulls. The big thing is 8k sounds like it’s completely manageable until the sled doesn’t wanna move halfway through the 3rd down and back. And what I realized was doing sled pushes for time with compromised running was what made it suck less in a race. So put 4 minutes on the clock for your hyrox stations then move on to those sub 3ks!! You got a great channel and you work really hard. Good luck.

I have total faith you'll do great! With your strong mentality, staying consistent and grinding it can only go well. Loving the more weekly Hyrox prep videos, I've really missed your videos, as your by far my favorite running creator, and the reason I'm actually a runner in the first place 😊 Keep on the video and Hyrox grind 🔥🤟

You will be fine. With it all I am rooting for you with it. Something I can recommend with the sledges is make sure you keep your hips low that will help. But the amount of people I have seen in rugby that can keep a low body position can move the sledges easily

Gotta hinge at the hips more on the ski! Lead with the chest first, the arms are just the follow through. You’re pulling all triceps rn. I bet you go sooo much faster if you hinge at the hips more!

10 weeks is definitely a short amount of time strength and conditioning wise, but you can make some progress, nothing super significant.., but progress nonetheless. Glad you are not being myopic in your expectations.., though still keeping your expectations high. go get after it.

I’m a smaller athlete training for a marathon and a hyrox shortly after (probably a bad idea). What’s your height and weight?

You can still put on muscle in 10 weeks
You can have some major newbe gains since you haven’t really lifted heavy before
