In certain countries some of these things wouldn't happen or would be changed fast enough. If those teens would take all those spaces on a train in Germany would very quickly be told off. Heck most people still get up to let the elderly or pregnant sit [mind you it's a generalisation but mostly true]. In the UK however these teens could spread even more and listen to loud music and nobody would dare to confront them. Ref: German living in UK.
