Live Music Now Scotland pays professional musicians fair rates to work in the heart of our communities. The charity selects exceptional musicians at the start of their careers, with the ability to communicate with a huge range of audiences. LMNS enhances their skills through training and organises performances for audiences that wouldn’t often get the chance to enjoy live music. Live Music Now is a music outreach charity, which operates throughout the UK and internationally. Violinist Yehudi Menuhin founded Live Music Now 43 years ago, after seeing first-hand the uplifting and transformative effect that music can have on people, no matter how difficult their circumstances.
ABOUT THE ARTISTS
The All Sorts were born in the back of a car, founded by four touring opera singers who simply wanted an excuse to hang out more. Sarah, Jane, Grace, and Barbara decided to “give the a cappella thing a try” and discovered they were rather good at it! They came together to form a group which could perform all musical styles: from opera to motown and Lieder to Disney, combining classic barbershop and classical arrangements. They began their closely harmonising adventure in late 2017 and joined Live Music Now in 2019.
