I would like to make a correction in this video. I have not opened the Round 2 Corp reissue of this kit. I mistakenly assumed that the ones I had seen were the new issues when they were in fact, the 1995 original release. Please accept my apologies for this error.

Although AMT Round 2 have corrected the side wall inaccuracies they have included a bare bones decal sheet. No sensor bands. No windows. Their 1:1000 version is far more elaborate with it's decals. Yes sure keep the aztecs as a separate purchase but the basics should have been included on a 2024 release. Not good. We shouldn't have to go to the secondary market for those. Forgive the rant. Great review.

The original release had windows molded into the sides of the hull and when R2 released this kit they had done away with the windows and provided window decals, ugh!! Plus R2 made the bottom hull piece a bit taller.

Hi Jerry, That's a nice ship. I looked-up some of the Star trek kits, they're all different scale, that's too bad if you want to put them together in a collection. Unfortunately, NX-01 comes either tiny or gigantic (1/1000 or 1/350), 1/600ish scale seems to be a good size, I'm not really sure how they decide for a scale anyway as those are fictional, perhaps there is defined dimensions somewhere that I don't know. I might go with the Enterprise with translucent hull. I also saw the one that is a cut-away (with decals for the interior), do you know if it's any good? Thanks for this review, until next time👋🏻
