What a great OS to showcase this new technology.

Must be mighty powerful to do RT raytracing. That is really impressive. Also, I've always been proud of NVIDIA's support for OpenGL. I hope this will be a great year for NVIDIA.

ARM will have amazing potential in the future we can see that already. I just wonder how much of Tegras computing power will really help me and how much it will help others to get data they need from my device?

I wanna get these amazing demos just to see them running on my Ubuntu all day long. Maybe as something like a live background.

I've never been more impressed. Raytracing on mobile hardware? It could mean Avatar-style graphics in the palm of my hand. Well done Nvidia :)

Then if your trying to develop a processor for mobile devices. How come you didn't try to look for alternative parts so that the price would be cheap? Another one is you say that you are trying to develop new low power processors. But how come you didn't invent anything to control the thermal heat of the device which may affect battery life? Even with the latest gadgets that is the size of a phone. No matter how much you develop LPP's. You didn't even solve the most single part and that's heat.

Ooh nvidia, nvidia, nvidia! 06:04 so basically Tegra 5 Logan is just what Tegra 4 aka Wayne was supposed to be!! and we will have to wait for Tgera 6 Parker to see the real thing, a Cortex-a50 (a57 & a53) 64CPU with armv8 support, that's the performance of a Nehalem somehow Westmere architecture between your hand ready to serve you on the go goddammit, can't wait for it.

The problem is, that would kill all competition and destroy it in the long run. Monopolies are bad. Just bad. It's a nice thought to combine all the smart minds, but at the end of the day they're still companies, and companies with a monopoly do bad things for the customer. That's a given.

Amazed that it's all running on Ubuntu, that’s the true amazing thing.

So you don't get nervous standing still.

Intel and nvidia should just create a joint company

9:44 oh yeah, running GNU/Linux. Awesome. Now if only nvidia did more to work on free and open source drivers like AMD and Intel do.

All we need is the power of Nvidia, with the price of AMD to construct the best GPU.

It's probably Linus who intimidated them to do it ;D

Or release CUDA as an open standard and transfer the patents to a 3rd party.

As i said before if there is no #OpenCL support inside the Tegra 5 chip then there is no need for you to build it, stop being evil and bring OpenCL to Logan just like so many others

C...c...cu...cuda? Someone pinch me i think i'm dreaming. Hopefully nvidia will help the open-source community in the future because lets face it, linux is FINALLY taking over the pc market
