Shania Twain - Ka Ching! / digital 4K Remastered
Показать описание
Ka-Ching! is a song by Canadian singer Shania Twain, released in November 2002 on her album Up! The title was written by Robert Lange, in addition to the performer herself. The song title is an onomatopoeic paraphrase known in the English language for the ringing of a cash register.
From childhood, people are taught that the goal of life is to accumulate financial and material wealth ("live like a king, with lots of money and things"). The emphasis is on material possessions, for the acquisition of which money not actually available for this purpose is used ("money that we don't possess"). This happens regardless of the sense of an investment ("spend it foolishly") and takes on religious characteristics ("our religion is to go and blow it all").
The music video for the single was shot in January 2003 under the direction of Antti Jokinen in the Casino Español and a hotel in Mexico City as well as in Spain's capital Madrid. In total there are three versions of the video. In addition to the version broadcast on TV, the other two clips use only the studio footage of the singer shot in Madrid.
