One man’s trash is another’s DIY noisebox

This little noisebox is super fun to play with.

Here I am running it through the SansAmp Bass Driver to amplify , into a reverse tape delay setting on the Donner Ultimate Delay, then into the Joyo Atmosphere in pulse mode.

Nice! I like the look of your noise box. I watched a video by Venus Theory of him making a similar instrument. It was inspired by some fancy device that sells for a lot (forgot the name).

I bought some springs, metal rulers and other supplies to make one like his, but he took the video down for some reason. Seeing yours inspires me to just wing it and see what happens. I’m a bit intimidated still…

Any general advice you’d give? Do you wish you did anything differently when building yours? What’s the main box made from? I like how yours is compact; it looks well put together. 👍

how you make that? im noise fan but i only have a bass a chorus and delay pedal
