This was Taylor’s first single and it was a smash hit on country radio. She did write this song (i think she wrote all of her songs so far). She’s a great lyricist and sure developed her craft over the years. The next one i think you should react is ‘’Teardrops on my guitar’’. It was the second single she released from her first album.

It’s amazing to think a 16 year old girl wrote this song. Her songwriting is so amazing. I remember seeing her as an opener for Rascal Flatts on her first ever tour and you could tell she was destined to be a star. Been a Swiftie since day one 💜
