Seen a jacked bald guy with a PhD saying "tummy" will never not be funny

I like how Mike carefully explains the technique behind the exercise and then the video loops into Ronnie Coleman, 8-time Mr Olympia, doing it in exactly opposite fashion

Gym buddy showed me the 25’s instead of 45’s for this exercise to increase ROM and it makes such a difference.

Imagine saying to even Top 5 Olympia placeholders "Youre not going to ever look like Ronnie" and being 100% accurate.

Says 'tummy' while super focused 😂.
The man is great. Super intelligent, knowledgeable, articulate, and he often says something that cracks me up while I'm learning something. 👍

I love how much respect you have for Ronnie

I've said it in other videos - I have no interest in working out/weight lifting... but I find myself constantly watching your videos. Great teacher. Good points, great explanations, and a little humor. I'm not sure why your channel showed up in my algorithm, but I'm glad it did!

I always use a chest supported lever row (which is almost always free at my gym no matter how busy it is) and let my shoulders sink down and towards the floor at the bottom to maximize stretch - I get super sore in my upper back after 5 sets of those

I wish my legs were as big as Ronnie's arms 🥺

It’s a very powerful lift that simply loads your whole body well. Love it!

The Man Lifting Needs To Critique the Critic in this one . Guys absolutely shredded plus has an amazing form while lifting such a massive amount of pounds. Kudos !

Every high school weight room needs a guy with his kind of knowledge of form and range of motion vs just throwing up huge numbers.

The 25’s tip does help a lot. About to start doing these again

This is one of my favorite exercises because of that force curve. I have quite the long orangutan-like arms compared to my legs and this exercise is ideal for that. Providing you use 10kg/25lbs plates instead of 20/45’s because of what dr. Mike explained.

Ronny was and still is a freaking beast!! I will never ever discredit anything this man did or is still doing. He was definitely built different but, seeing stuff like this shows me why he had over 8 back surgeries. Its fun when you young but your body gonna make your regret it when you get older. Stay safe Yeah Buddy 😎💪🏾💯✌🏾

Dr. Mike’s videos are my daily affirmations (that tell me that I already do everything right😌)💪🙏✊

This guy has that intuitive sense for Cos(x) and Sin(x). If you dont know what those concepts are, learn them. They will help with your lifting a lot.

I only recently realized how much low testosterone can affect motivation and progress. I found some great tips in a book that really helped me get moving and start working on myself. The book is called ‘You Are Stronger Than You Think’ by Borlest, and it truly opened my eyes in many ways. I’m now on my journey to becoming a better version of myself thanks to it.

Good to know. I love landmines. I think I've been doing them too heavy lately. I'll drop the weight and try this technique for a few weeks.
