World's Fastest Bikes 2023 | World Cup Winning MTBs

With the end of the year fast approaching and the race season looking like a speck in the rearview, Isaac Mundy thought it would be fun to do some maths to find the fastest bikes from this year! As we know it's not always down to the bike but some MTBs have stood out from the rest this year. Bikes like the Lapierre Spicy under Isabeau Courdurier and the Trek Session ridden by Valentina Höll seemed undefeatable just to name a few, but which brands/mountain bikes stood out the most?

It’s more the rider skill or fitness than the bike or components that wins the race.

Interesting to see how dominant the lapierre is in EDR despite the aging geo, maybe trail bike geo is the way forward, and thats why specialized team riders are choosing the stumpy evo over the enduro, and nukeproof riders are choosing the mega over giga?
