Some Sequoias include our native Redwood trees are semi fireproof when alive. That's why generally Forestville, Guerneville, and Montio Rio are safe from the fires in they are encircled by them. Go there if you have nowhere to go, you have a better chance there plus the Russian River is an escape route to the coast if the whole thing goes entirely haywire.

I'm a born and raised Napa boy - thankfully the Navy took me away from Psychodrama California, it really pains me to look at this year after year. Remember the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different There are Zero fire breaks!!! And, zero clear cutting!! How about controlled burns to remove the fuel source [ dry brush and deadwood] from residential areas and power stations?? What do you expect???? Has any one ever heard of risk management??? Divest from the environmentalist extremists and DEMAND better from your elected officials. Your safety and wealth is being treated as an acceptable loss by the political elite.

The trees were completely still and untouched. How did these houses set on fire? 🤔If I was ever to have a house built, I would like it made out of the wood from these trees - they can spread fire and burn down bricks, mortar and metal whilst remaining completely unblemished. Magic!
