FYI, you are programming the TPS system to take the CURRENT tire PSI as correct value. So using 2016 highlander as reference, 36psi front/back is what's on the rocker panel for correct pressures.
If, let's say the actual pressures on the tires are currently 30psi, that will set the TPMS system that 30psi is proper pressure. Warning light will come on 5psi below that, or 25psi.

Proper use: Make sure all tires are set to desired pressure (hot or cold) before pressing/holding button.

Many people press this button to "fix" the TMPS issue... but in reality you may be just hiding a improper tire inflation value.

Toyota has removed this button from newer vehicles (and gone to a newer TPMS sensor), one stated reason is because it caused confusion and safety concerns.

I found the Reset button on my 2013 Toyota Highlander Limited. As you're sitting in the drivers seat it is waaay under the dash on the right side very close to the bolt that attaches the decorative dash to the dash frame, on the right of the knee airbag and somewhat recessed.

Please what can make a tpms scan tool indicates failure in to the diagnosis system of 2016 Toyota highlander? I tried obd relearn and manual relearn all failed. Please help me out

how do i make it display which door is open like yours ? i have 2018 xle and it doesn't show which specific door is open in display screen.
