How to reset frozen Asus laptop (for my Godfather)

I realized that the computer is still not risen. you need to hold the power button for longer to really turn off. then turn on and press F9. I wanted to disconnect the battery. but the battery is built in (to turn off the laptop).

Thanks Brother it works you should hold the power button for few seconds and then press F9.If it didn't gets ready in the first attempt repeat the process.

Thank you sir. My laptop was on infinite booting, then i press F9 and the sytem was on automatic repair. Then i chose "continue to window". You save me.
