Ann, I love it! I have a very sensitive scalp, seborreac dermatitis. I colored my hair and would get sores and blisters and scabs and at 50 I finally decided to stop coloring. It's the best thing I've ever done. I grew up working in beauty salons since I was a teenager so coloring was a natural thing to do. Now that I'm gray and natural, it has really freed up my life. I call them God's highlights. I love my gray hair. It's beautiful on you. Thank you for sharing Ann.

I think you might love your gray hair as it grows out. It looks like it could be a lovely silver gray. My sister dyed her hair for many years and when she got tired of doing it she let it grow out grey. It’s closer to white than gray and beautiful. It was fun to see what you sent your nephews and niece. Thanks for sharing☺️

Stopped coloring and highlighting in April of 2023. My hair was thinning and breaking. Now it’s all natural and came in silver. It’s back to its full thickness too. You’ll love it once you get used to it.

I think you will look beautiful with the gray hair. Constantly coloring hair is a pain! You are a beautiful person inside and out!❤

I have thick brown hair. Super duper thick. I have an undercut in the back only and started that right around Covid. It’s made a huge difference! I’m also very tactile and LOVE how it feels shaved in the back. I find myself fidgeting with it a lot.

I think it’s great you’re going for it. When you said you look like your dad, I nearly fell off the couch. Hilarious.

I was working in the oilfield at about 52, when I got tired of coloring my hair. Auburn. Was getting so gray I was coloring every 3 weeks. Next time I saw my doctor, she was so happy about it. She said there are so many chemicals in our daily lives, she was glad I no longer added unnecessary extras!

I used to have medium, brown hair and sort of had the Ombre look for a good while and just kept it in a ponytail. Luckily that was the style at the time LOL. Still a bit awkward but I got through it. So happy I did it, no more coloring and a new me haha. You'd be surprised how your grey hair matches you natural flesh tone. So proud of you girl!

I had really dark brown hair and started going gray in my early 30s. I started dying my hair but I was doing it every six weeks but it got to be too much so I went blonde. During the pandemic I let my hair grow and with that growth I found I was gray with many shades of gray. I don't colour my hair anymore. I can see you will have a mixture of gray tones too. See how you like it when it's longer and then decide. I'm never going back to dying my hair. Too much work and the chemicals can't be good for me.

I quit coloring at about age 45. My twin sister didn't like it, but I loved being gray

I just think you look so beautiful. I know it's a shock to see the gray. I let mine grow out at 40. I have a short bob. But you rocking that shaved head is making me want to go to a pixie! I really hope you can start to see yourself the way we do. You are stunning Ann!❤

I went gray about 4 years ago at 51 after having an allergic reaction to hair color. I love the gray now and it is so much healthier and so much easier. Take your time and adjust to it. You might love it! There are support groups on facebook which are super positive too!

I love this look on you! I think it really makes your eyes and smile pop! I'm 65 and have naturally blonde hair - dishwater color with a touch of red highlights. I have colored my hair since I was 16 except for a couple of times during the pandemic and since then to see what my gray color would be. My hair is mostly gray but it is not a pretty color of gray. I really hated it and it makes me look washed out. Because of that, I am still coloring my hair - blonde with red highlights mostly, just not the dishwater color!

I really like it! I’ve always thought you would look awesome with light blonde hair too.

I said it in the video where you revealed your shaved head, and I'll say it again, I love how your shaved head looks on you!! I think you look fantastic with your head shaved. Not many can pull that off. If you dont like the feel of hair, just keep shaving it because it works on you for sure. I wish I was brave enough to do it. Also i think the grey suits you better than the died color. Keep rocking it. It is so sweet of you to send the kiddos things. I'm sure they love getting the packages in the mail. 😊

My aunt went totally gray in her 20's from tramua and stress, and the four other sisters didn't. I believe that intense tramua can cause so many unusual things to happen. Also she was very strong like you are. I always appreciate your honesty, and authentic people get picked on, so please don't allow others to dim your amazing bright light. ❤
