Genshin Impact | 4 / 6: 'Exorcismus Blasphemiae' (Fanmade Il Capitano Boss Theme) [Transformation]

Hey everyone! Here’s part 4 / 6 of my next big project I’m working on; a multi-phase theme for Il Capitano! The full theme will feature six tracks made to depict a conceptual boss battle sequence for Capitano built up between the Natlan and Snezhnaya Archon Quests, as well as the Captain’s own story quest!

This theme plays during the transformation cutscene between the first and second phase of the boss fight, such is the case with every Fatui Harbinger. I imagine Il Capitano basically exploding into abyssal energy and reducing himself to a pile of ash, before rising from it like a phoenix in his new form. We will call this new form the “Shepherd in Black”. That’s really all there is to say about this one.

As an extra clarification, yes this does tie into my previous Columbina concept and is part of the same conceptual canon. You will see tracks for some things that would be familiar to you had you seen either my previous Capitano boss theme, or my Columbina weekly boss concept video. Please go watch those if you would like to better understand this when the full thing is complete!
