In Episode 139 of the No Limitations podcast Last Man Standing, Blenheim Partners’ Gregory Robinson speaks to Col. Douglas Macgregor (ret.), Former Senior Advisor to the Secretary of Defense.

In a thought-provoking discussion, which will no doubt generate significant debate, Douglas provides a commentary on the state of leadership in the wider world today. He turns to the major flashpoints across the globe, and he assesses the rapidly escalating conflict between Israel and other parties in the Middle East and the Russian war with Ukraine, sharing his perspective as someone who has endured the horrors and futility of war. Douglas also evaluates the likelihood of an act of aggression by China against its immediate neighbours such as Taiwan in the South China Sea. Returning to the United States, Douglas emphasises the need for cultural unity and the successful assimilation of new waves of immigration into mainstream society. He also touches on the need to act decisively to reduce the burgeoning government debt and the possibility of emerging nations embracing bitcoin to curb the influence of the United States dollar.

Douglas was first commissioned into the United States Army in 1976. During his 28 years of service, he was a leader of the 1st Squadron 4th Cavalry, the 1999 Kosovo Air Campaign, the Battle of 73 Easting during the Gulf War, and the offensive into Baghdad in 2002. By the time of his retirement in 2004, Douglas was a decorated veteran with several awards for meritorious service, including the National Defense Service Medal and the Army Commendation Medal. More recently, Douglas was the Senior Advisor to the Secretary of Defense, a position he held until then-President Trump left office. Douglas has written several books on military operations which have been the catalyst for profound changes in defense strategy in the United States and abroad. Douglas has also appeared as a defense analyst on Fox News, CNN, BBC, Sky News and public radio.

It is a shame that RFK Jr. has no chance as a presidential candidate.
Mr.Macgregor, you are a breath of fresh air, thanks for all you do to try to educate and enlighten.

Do you not recall the level of inflation when Trump left office? Col. MacGregor, we were energy independent, even shipping out energy. This abundance of energy solves a lot of problems.

All you need to do is drill all goods will be cheaper.

Trump hasn't been silent. He has advised his plan to 'Drill baby, Drill'. Trump understands that cheap energy has always been at the forefront of every successful economy for 100s of years. If Macgregor has missed this fundamental detail, what else has he missed?

Superb analysis. Not only will they try to keep RFK marginalized but Jill Stein as well. RFK says a lot that makes sense but his heretofore stated stance on Gaza is appalling. Stein's agenda is by far is the most pertinent and enlightened for the country and the world but the duopoly, which represent no-one but the rich and corporations, will do anything it can to keep her and Kennedy out of the running.

Wow! This is the most ridiculous talk I have ever heard out of the Colonel. Trump has a record and so do the others. Forget about what they have said and say. Look at what they have done.

You have to separate Trump from the Democrats; Trump will listen to RFK jr. and possibly even have him in his cabinet somewhere; Secretary of State would be ideal. Trump is not entirely right on geopolitical issues, but he will listen with the prism of America first. This is the antithesis of the Democrats. No way of getting around Trump is the only path for us to have a chance to save our sovereign nation and its not even close.

So the problem started with "the massive NON-EUROPEANS into the country illegally"? Would illegals from Europe into the country be okay?

I generally agree, but with the caveat that Trump has a record of success in his last administration. He will do the same things, with the same results. In addition he won't get rolled by the permanent, unelected government. And God willing, he will make the federal government smaller and responsive to the people. Also, no new wars!
