Altman: "Under the above set of assumptions (current values, future growth, and the reduction in value from the new tax), a decade from now each of the 250 million adults in America would get about $13,500 every year."

I try to show that Altman's reasoning favors specific expertise over basic common sense. Others also take issue with Altman's rationale. According to CNBC.com, "Glen Weyl, an economist and a principal researcher at Microsoft Research, wrote on Twitter: 'This beautifully epitomizes the AI ideology that I believe is the most dangerous force in the world today.'"
