When we discuss this topic we have 2 major fiqh opinions. And both opinions are correct.
Opinion 1 - Prophet Muhammad صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ did not show inclination to perform more than one Umrah. Rather he performed just one Umrah.
Opinion 2 - Some of the Ulema in the past have said you can perform more than one Umrah by simply going outside the confines of Mecca known as Tan'eem.
