Rakhi Sawant’s Husband Adil Durrani Arrested | ISH News

Actress Rakhi Sawant is always in the news for her melodrama. Rakhi, last month, revealed that she had married Adil Durrani in 2022. Taking to Instagram, she shared a photograph of their purported marriage certificate. Rakhi also accused Adil of having an extra-marital affair.

Now Rakhi has allegedly filed a police complaint with Mumbai Police that her husband Adil Durrani mishandled her money. After the complaint Mumbai police arrested Durrani on 7th February 2023. Adil will be produced before the court on 8th February 2023. Rakhi accused Adil of assaulting her and taking away her money and jewellery from her flat without her knowledge. While talking to media outside Mumbai's Oshiwara police station, Rakhi claimed, "He (Adil) came to beat me at home in the morning, I immediately called the police. He frequently visits my home and gives threats. Even today he came to beat me at home, and I was scared. He said that you defamed me in the media." After that Rakhi fainted. The actress was accompanied by her lawyer and family members.

Rakhi's brother Rakesh also backed the actress and said Adil physically and verbally abused her. Rakesh said, "Never thought that he would stoop down to such a level. We even forgave two or three times. The next day after the demise of our mother, when we went to Rakhi's house to feed her, we noticed Rakhi's face was swollen. She was crying, when our relatives asked her then she revealed that Adil had beaten her on the same day our mother passed away.” He also accused Adil Durrani of attempting to murder the actress. This is an attempt to murder and even today he threw a glass at her. He tried to kill her. He thinks he can take away Rakhi’s property after her.”

Rakhi, please go and see a good psychotherapist. They will help you to understand why and how all of this happened. Also your going through the first stages of grief regarding the loss of your Mum and the bitter end of your marriage. Please deal with your grief in private and with dignity. Get the right support. Please stop monetising your pain in the media. They are just exploiting you for ratings and melodrama. Some things are just too sacred, painful and personal to share with the media and the whole world.
