Honestly as a kid i thought god was lonely like me so my prayers just consisted of me asking god how his day was, apologizing for humanity, and telling him how my day was.

Ultimately this is only one type of prayer, the prayer for oneself but there is many other types. For example, prayer for others (parents, poor people etc), prayer for forgiveness, prayer for protection, prayer for guidance and etc etc.

Prayer was a huge part of my early life. When I was wide awake I'd do a long detailed prayer. When I was tired I'd say basically the same thing but apologize too 😂
